This will be blog of the famous paladin Risingdawn aka 'Skankadin'. Written by me, Keith Kime, I will be posting random tidbits of her adventures throughout the World of Warcraft, as well as random Paladin (particually Protection) tips and information.

About Keith: 28 year old male geek living in Columbia, South Carolina with my girlfriend of over a year. We both play World of Warcraft (I've been playing off and on since Undead-Beta; she's been playing since early July '08), as well as our own personal D&D game. Many of our characters in WoW are based or named from someone in our game.

About "Skankadin" Risingdawn: Started out as a needed tank for a new guild the girlfriend and I created, as we had too many ranged DPS'ers, and pretty much no tanks or even healers. I figured going from a Hunter to a Paladin would be much of a stretch, as I had tried them out before, as well as warriors, but the changes made in 2.4 and 3.0 really cemented my love for them. I quickly lvl'd her, twinking her out as I went, along with help from my guildies. I started calling her a 'Skankadin' because of well the skanky little outfits she wore (got to love Blizz and female Blood Elves). So it just kinda stuck. I've never really done much with her in a roleplaying sense, since Trollbane is a regular server. But I have my RP moments, and well that's what this blog is all about.
